Rig Survey

The video below was a survey done on the Neptune Drilling Ship that was docked in Trinidad-Tobago. A complete survey was completed outlining rig capabilities, limitations and recommendations.

Nexus Deepwater has provided indepth Rig Survey's for major clients. Leveraging our experience, we have designed, developed, adopted and implemented  our advanced Rig Survey methods that take away all the guess work for project teams and installation teams. Our approach is to fully define and understand the needs of our clients. Our assessment methods are geared towards reducing OPEX and CAPEX.

Completions
We take into account the rig layout, logistics and running of equipment that supports Upper and Lower Completions. We also take into account Tubing Hanger Modes, EDP / LRP light well intervention using IWOCS.

Rig Interfaces
Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Electrical interfaces are critical as the source of energy is vital to running various equipment. An understanding of the Interfaces provies a major cost saving for design teams to ensure seamless operations during installation.

Vessel Hazardous Area Location
We survey the Hazardous Areas and classifications as this impacts selection of equipment

Derrick and Pipe Decks
Looking at the Derrick Height, Type of Elevators, Tongs / Roughneck, Type of Drill pipe, Pipe-Deck location and rotary to moonpool space logistics allows us to put you in the driver seat.
